Prenatal and antenatal care
Dr Joseph is an experienced Brisbane based obstetrician who is there for you from the very start of your pregnancy journey. In addition to general prenatal counselling, screening and check-ups, Dr Joseph also offers specialised support for women with less straightforward or high-risk pregnancies. His expertise encompasses all high-risk pregnancies including twin pregnancy, women with pre-existing medical conditions such as diabetes or high blood pressure, and the management of other early pregnancy complications.
Pregnancy care requires a holistic multidisciplinary approach, and Dr Jabbour collaborates with a trusted network of physiotherapists, dieticians, genetic counsellors and psychologists to meet your needs.
Childbirth
Dr Joseph Jabbour facilitates both vaginal delivery and elective Caesarean section, dependent on patient preference. Occasionally, labour and delivery can be unpredictable, warranting assisted vaginal delivery or emergency Caesarean section. Dr Joseph will provide you with thorough counselling regarding each option, and any potential complications that may arise. With few exceptions, he is available on call for your labour and delivery so that you can feel confident that you’re in safe and familiar hands during childbirth.
